Amsa-dong & Mongchontoseong (Mud Rampart)
This course offers a glimpse at historical changes from the pre-historic period to the Three Kingdoms period and at the lifestyles of the Baekje people through visits to the Amsa-dong Prehistoric Settlement Site and Mongchon Museum of History. Enjoy strolling along a romantic urban castle wall by way of the mud rampart and walk the paths of Olympic Park that have been used as shooting sites for famous Korean dramas and TV commercials.
Walking Course
Route : Amsa-dong Prehistoric Settlement Site → (Subway) → Olympic Park → Mongchontoseong → Mongchon Museum of History
Course Time : 2.5 hours
Meeting place : Ticket office of Amsa-dong Prehistoric Settlement Site
(Get off at the front gate of Prehistoric Settlement Site via Shuttle Bus No. 02 and 03 from Exit 1 at Amsa Station on Subway Line 8, or walk for 15 minutes to the site from Exit 4)

Amsadong Prehistoric Settlement Site
This course begins at Amsa-dong Prehistoric Settlement Site. It is the largest collective living space of the New Stone Age that have ever been in Korea. It consists of the exhibition mall that houses relics of the New Stone Age and the restored pit house.

Olympic Park
Olympic Park is a park With four themes -Culture and Art (holding performances and events throughout the year); Sports (walking/jogging courses, health acupressure paths, inline skating etc.); Environmental Eco-system (habitats for birds and other living creatures, eco-observatory decks, aquatic creatures, artificial floating islands etc.), and Historical Experiences (Mongchon Museum of History, Mongchontoseong etc.).

Mongchontoseong & Mongchon Museum of History
In the park, there is a Mongchontoseong (Mud Rampart) It is a mud rampart from the Hanseong-Baekjae period of the early 3rd century and was used as a defense against attacks from the North. Waking through the road, you can arrive at Mongchon Museum of History The museum displays representative cultural heritages and relics of Baekjae including those discovered in the areas around the Hangang (River) as well as those from old houses, tomb complexes and Mongchontoseong, providing evidence that Seoul has been the capital of Korea for 2,000 years.
